The National Martyrs Monument just outside Dhaka is a popular spot for locals as much as, if not more than, tourists. There's lots of space to walk around and its surprisingly quiet despite being next to a busy highway. Seemed that the locals were more interested in the three of us than the monument but it was nice to be able to walk around a bit - even if a little hot!
