Second hair cut

Neve's hair has always been the subject of many comments. This is still the case in Bangladesh but rather than commenting on how much hair she has, comments are more around the fact that it is long. "Is that still her birth hair?" or "Haven't you shaved it?" being the common lead ins to discussions about her hair. People are fascinated to hear that (1) many babies in Australia are born without hair and may not have much up until up to their first birthday (2) we generally speaking never shave a girl's hair (3) boys wouldn't have their head shaved until much later than the 7 days old that is standard in Bangladesh.

In the end, we didn't get Neve's head shaved but did decide to be a bit more adventurous with the cut - her head's been getting quite sweaty with the heat here. And its gone curly - much to mum's dismay!!! - not that that's a reason for cutting it!
